A few miles south of Chester, South Carolina finds a late running Norfolk Southern 155 on the R-Line. Often overlooked by railfans, this line (despite its low traffic levels) offers an easy chase with some nice shots. Sweeping curves, open field, and rolling grades can be found everywhere on the Charlotte - Augusta mainline. If there is something of note running down the R-Line, I think it is definitely worth the chase - and even if it is Dash-9s like usual, if you're into photography, I still think it is worth it.
