| Leaving the urban backdrop of southern California behind, UP's hotshot ZLAMQ slithers up the western slope of Beaumont Hill, commonly referred to as San Timoteo Canyon. In the distance one of many citrus fields that still line the former SP Sunset Route in the confines of San Timoteo provides a welcome reminder to southern California's rich citrus history and the involvement of the railroads to haul it to markets in the east. |
