| To run a ethanol trains across the Iowa district, CN needs a minimum of 8000 horses. So when the CN gets 3000 horse foreign unit, a 3rd unit needs to be added to get the trains over the grades between Ft. Dodge and Freeport. Lately the 5400's series units have been a kicker in these type of situations. Here U706 out of Arthur slows up for a slow order thru Aplington with the 5434 helping out the cause. This power would run thru to the CSXT at Chicago for points east.
