| Amtrak AEM-7 921 leads a passenger train out of Newark on it's way North. The day this photo was taken I took the morning and headed to the Northeast Corridor to try and catch some of the new ACS-64s running around. Surprisingly the only thing I caught on regional trains this morning were AEM 7s.
It's hard to believe that less than a year after this photo. That you would be lucky to even hear about an AEM-7 pulling a train on the Northeast Corridor. In late 2015/Early 2016 AEM-7 921 was officially retired from service. |
