| A deceivingly warm looking fifth morning in March 2016 had the waterfront area of Bangor, Maine being quickly awakened by the sounds of Pan Am Railways train NM-1.
With Railroad Street in its sight, 305 and 3005 led a healthy string of Mattawamkeag cars toward Northern Maine Junction. With both the nearby Old Town and Bucksport mill closed down, these moves to and from the tie chipper operation in 'Keag are pretty much all that visit the one time Maine Central mainline east of Calais Junction and MP 60. |
