Sleepy Time Down South – Seaboard Coast Line GP9 948 idles alongside the 1885 Suffolk, Virginia station built for the Seaboard & Roanoke railroad, which became part of the Seaboard in 1911. When the Virginian was built in 1907, the building began its 49-year life as a union station, until the Virginian discontinued passenger service. The station stands today, now serving as a museum.
