Weather conditions have recently been about as perfect as could be expected for early to mid March in Downeast Maine. Running southbound a bit earlier than normal, Central Maine & Quebec's job #211 was making speed toward MP 9 and Muskrat Farm Road on March 12, 2016. 2006 and sister 2003 had a short train for Searsport, and the two B23-7s were more than enough for the morning tonnage. The afternoon's return with 13 loaded slurry tanks and over twenty cars total was a bit more of a challenge.
