Remarks & Notes

More then enough power (more then 20000 kW) for a short northbound freight, crossing the 103 meter long Polmengo viaduct near Faido. The original truss bridge from 1882 was replaced about 1960 with this concrete arch building, faced with granite stones. Locomotives Re 6/6 # 11616 "Illnau-Effretikon" (blazon Effretikon), Re 4/4 II # 11273 and Re 6/6 # 11625 "Oensingen".
