Remarks & Notes

DFB 7348 works a Waitakere to Britomart train up the 2% grade to Waitakere tunnel in the last 2 weeks of operation on this section of line. Electric units took over all trains on the Western Line as far as Swanson with buses replacing trains on this scenic section. The carriages are ex-Britich Rail Mk 2 with driving cab for push pull operation.
