| Normal operations during "Steamfest" sees loaded and empty coal trains running alongside the special train services, as fans seek the best vantage points on overhead bridges etc, a Glencore empty coal train worked by XRN010-XRN005-XRN003 heads west through East Maitland for another load. In another 40mins the footbridge in the background will be full as the steam locos head east to Hanbury Junction and prepare for "The Great Steam Train Race" that will finish back at this location. |
