HMCR 3986 rests for a while on the morning of 4-17-16, just north of Pinhook Creek. A few hours later, it will be woken up to haul the seven cars behind it to the south end of the line.
This engine is one of only three ex-Southern high-hood B23-7s left in service here in the US with the original high-hood, though the count goes up to five if you include the one that's being used as a parts engine and the other that has been converted to a slug.
