| Lashed down and ready for a long slow road trip from Durban to Pretoria. On a miserable winter morning this is ex Queensland Railway Class 1720 Clyde GL18C Co-Co, 1769D, shortly after being craned off the "Clipper Amber" and secured on a flatbed trailer. 1769D was part of a consignment of ex QR National locomotives that were imported / shipped to South Africa in June 2012 for various private rail companies, including RRL Grindrod South Africa and AR & TS. |
