The train is on the former "Nationalbahn" line near the stop of Walterswil-Striegel, between Zofingen and Suhr. The trip started in Basel Bad Bf and ran via Sissach-L?ufelfingen-Olten to Zofingen, via Suhr-Lenzburg-Mellingen-Wettingen to Würenlos, via Killwangen-Heitersberg-Othmarsingen-Brugg-Turgi to Koblenz, and later from Koblenz via Stein-S?ckingen and Basel shunting yard to Basel Bad Bf.
