| A train through Nichols SC has been a rare site for several years until recently when RJ Corman Carolina Lines got up and running on the former Carolina Southern Railroad. Limited local service resumed on April 6th 2016 after a 5 year hiatus due to some of the bridges on the line being taken out of service by the FRA and effectively shutting down the Carolina Southern. On this day a westbound local is headed for the CSX interchange in Mullins SC with five cars and a PRLX GP38 to setoff. |
