    Tickle Me Elmo

A short eastbound Santa Fe freight wobbles as it enters the siding at Elmo, just north of Wasco, in California's Central Valley, in May 1993. This siding is the scene of a lot of meets, so the uneven trackwork is a bit surprising since it reduces track speed.
