CNW 6615, an SD7M heads a trio of SD power at Rapid City, SD in October 1980. These units worked the Western Division of CNW, headquartered at Chadron, NE along with Geeps and Alco power (in South Dakota). CNW 6615 began life as SD7 1660, built in June 1953. It joined the DME roster upon the sale of the Rapid City line across South Dakota.
