| L3108 & LZ3117 work their loaded iron ore train through Naval Base nearing the port of Kwinana to unload. During Aurizon's 3 year stint of working these iron ore trains for Mineral Resources, it was common for two L class locomotives to work the Forrestfield to Kwinana portion of the trip from Mt Walton. This was to save turning one bigger powered loco around the triangle which was very time consuming. |
