The Escanaba & Lake Superior has shut down for the day, and the crew has left their ex-Conrail GP38 by the freight house in Ontonagon, Michigan. Ontonagon, on Lake Superior, is the end of an ex-Milwaukee line acquired by the E&LS in 1978. The small enginehouse is still standing in this 1986 view.
