| Ae 3/5 # 10217 with a Westinghouse/Sécheron single axle drive was built in 1924 by SLM and SAAS for mixed service. It was in service in the western part of Switzerland, but some vehicles of the series of 26 (# 10201 to 10226) pulled the car transport trains through the Gotthard tunnel between G?schenen and Airolo. The locomotive came to Erstfeld this day for the exhibition on the occasion of the Gotthard Base Tunnel opening event. In the background Ae 6/6 # 11425 "Genève/Genf" and Re 4/4 I # 10001. |
