| Late in the afternoon on Tehachapi BNSF's M MODBAR1 24A enters tunnel number two. The first cut of boxcars is all wine loads from Modesto for Barstow. Due to the ongoing and devastating drought, the hills are golden brown instead of a lush green which is more typical of Tehachapi in April. |
