    Remarks & Notes
Conrail's Pittsburgh to Morrisville manifest freight is crossing the massive 1904-built bridge over the Conestoga River. The bridge was an integral part of the PRR's Atglen & Susquehanna Branch; the double-tracked line was electrified in 1937 and the trolley wires were removed in the mid-1980s. The last train crossed the bridge December 19, 1988, and the tracks were removed in 1990. Rail trails exist at both ends of the now-closed structure, and it's hoped that the bridge can be restored for pedestrian and bike traffic in the near future. Lead locomotive No. 6376 was built by EMD for Conrail in July, 1977 and was renumbered by NS as its 3341.
