An eastbound on the wooden trestle over Sulphur Lake just west of Morton has been near the top of my list of shots I'd like to capture. Things finally lined up with a sunny morning, a flexible work schedule, and an eastbound train coming from Delhi. My next wish will be for something other than one unit running long hood forward. Still, I'd put this stretch of railroad between Morton and North Redwood in the running for most photogenic in the state. Knowing how many other railfans have tried and failed to get pictures along here due to lack of trains, I'm not complaining!
