Back When the Mainline was at Grade

On May 19, 1974, Southern Pacific 8922 west bisects downtown Reno, Nevada, skirting along some of the city's famous casinos (such as the Palace Casino, the sign for which can be seen above the train). This manifest is powered by an SD45, SD45T-2 and SD40T-2 - iconic locomotives on the Espee in the 1970s.
