Conrail's last of a fleet of 135 SD50s (Nos. 6700-6834) is in need of some touch-up paint on the nose as it leads a smoky GE on a westbound ballast express. The 6834 was built by EMD in February, 1986 with 3,600 hp vs. the standard 3,500 (6780-6834 were CR's uprated units) and eventually ended up on the Kansas City Southern as their No. 7018.
