      Remarks & Notes
A group of privately-owned ALCOs has resided on the Winchester & Western in southern New Jersey for many years now. Included in this view are three former Long Island Rail Road power cars. These were rebuilt by the LIRR from FA1 and FA2 units of varying heritage and were modified to provide HEP only. LI 611 is a former SP&S FA1 (ex-SPS 857, BN 4102). The plan is to make some of these units operational again with the addition of 251 prime movers "donated" from former Erie Mining RS-11s (one of which is partially visible here).
