With recrew on board, westbound Q317 rolls toward Russell, where it will pick up and set off cars before heading westbound for Queensgate Yard in Cincinnati. The normally massive train looks like a scale model coming down the 2-mile long straight at Kenova and crossing the double track trestle over the Big Sandy River, as seen from a hillside overlooking Catlettsburg. In the background, the approach span of the 4000 foot long Ohio River Bridge owned by Norfolk Southern can be seen crossing over the mainline at the tail end of the train.
