| Today's MRVRO has finished its long trip eastbound up the valley of the Humboldt River to Wells, Nevada and is now southeast of Wells on the Union Pacific's Shafter Sub. It is just about to leave the barren Independence Valley behind as it approaches the 5676' Hogan, (or Flowery Lake), Tunnel through the Pequop Mountains. Those are the East Humboldt Mountains in the background. |
