Union Pacific's 'First Help' provides dynamic braking for an 86 car Co-op, Utah to Valmy, Nevada coal train descending the 2% grade through the Gilluly horseshoe curve on Oct. 8, 1999. UP 8075, 7036, and SP 326 lead the charge while DRGW 5392, 5410, 5409, 5406, 5404, and 5385 keep gravitational forces at bay cut in 56 cars deep from the head end.
