| G07, the triweekly Madison District local is seen as it arrives at Minneta where the crew will set out a cut of empties for Battle Lumber. Minnieta (Railroad Timetable) located just a few miles south of Monticello, Georgia was the site of a once large Georgia Pacific plant, now defunct. G07's power for the week has been a set of worn but still trustworthy high hood GP38-2s which are a disappearing mark of southeastern branch line railroading that we've all known. |
