October can have a wide range of weather along the shores of Lake Superior, and on this occasion it cooperated nicely. This close up view of DMIR SDM 304 shows off the chop nose and horn relocation. This unit was formerly SD18 no. 192. This unit transferred to the Elgin Joliet & Eastern in February 1998 becoming their no. 804.
