| An APL46A pushes an eastbound NJ Transit train past the site of the former Conrail Stiles Street freight yard. This was a bustling freight yard, serving the nearby General Motors assembly plant. This assembly plant closed over 10 years ago and has subsequently been demolished. The Stiles Street Yard has been mothballed as a NJ Transit storage location in case of a major weather occurrence. |
