| Conrail JR-2/OI-16 typically operates with two six-axle units leading. On this day the Erie Lackawanna heritage unit is handling the job solo. NS 1700 seems to have had no difficulty bringing this 18-car train south from Port Reading to Browns Yard. The short train is just entering yard limits at the north end of Browns Yard and is passing under the remains of the once extensive Pennsylvania Railroad catenary system at this location. |
