    Remarks & Notes
Where the Ompompanoosuc River Joins the Connecticut River

Vermont Rail System train NPWJ-12, a Newport VT to White River Junction VT train, passes through the Ompompanoosuc River bridge at Kendall, near Norwich, Vermont, on September 13, 2016. This train stalled the previous evening, and so it is continuing its run the next morning. Power for this train is a single GP38, one of three engines still wearing the colors of Clarendon & Pittsford. CLP 203 is the former Maine Central 255, which has had its dynamic brakes removed.
