Crossing the Big Horn River on BNSF's Casper Subdivision, the annual AAPRCO special enters the spectacular Wind River Canyon as it heads north toward its destination for the day at Livingston, MT. BNSF provided a unit as protection power for the run from Casper to Greybull, WY.
The City of Spokane was a special train of privately owned railroad cars that are part of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO). The train was in conjunction with the annual convention in 2016.
