| Every now and then CSXT will run an odd ball gem out of Selkirk. It comes down usually to a matter of timing to catch it. On this morning not one but two southbound "K" trains; K622 & this K140(shown) ran with duo YN2 GE CSXT power sets. Two weathered low number AC4400s the #16 & sister #15 lead the K140 oil southbound adjacent to Route 9W on a beautiful September morning. The piles of new wooden ties await the curfew blitz of MOW forces Sunday through Weds that has all but vaporized the already drought of daylight traffic on this scenic line during the month of September. |
