Bellying Up to the Bar

Even on a cool, misty Maine morning, Wiscasset; Waterville & Farmington #9 is a thirsty beast. Prior to the first passenger run of the day, steam swirls around the fireman on this 2-foot-gauge locomotive as he tops off the 1891-built 0-4-4's tank at the square water tank in Alna, Maine, on September 11, 2016.
