The Australia Streamliners 2016 weekend's second night photo shoot gave me the opportunity to lens this image on Sunday night October 2, with several colorful cab reflecting in the special B-class locomotive, B61. The B61 was painted in a special scheme and named the Bernie Baker (in honor of the event planner) and is part of a class of diesel locomotives built by Clyde Engineering, Granville for the Victorian Railways in 1952/53. A special Streamliners Night Photo shoot was conducted with a full array of fireworks complimenting the evening.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
