BNSF Railway GP28-2M 1537, seen at the road's North Yard in Saginaw, Texas, was released from the EMD factory in La Grange, IL, in June 1954 as Chicago Burlington & Quincy GP9 281. After the Burlington Northern merger in 1970, this engine was numbered BN 1966. It was later rebuilt into a GP28M and numbered BN 1537. Photographed on private property with permission.
