Livesey (more..) » Contact Photographer · Photographer Profile  Remarks & Notes  For the first time since well before World War II, you can stand at 42nd St and Madison Ave in New York City and see the full west side and south side of Grand Central Terminal at the same time. I have been coming to this building since I was about 5 and I have never seen this. The demolition of several buildings so that a new taller-than-Empire-State-Building structure called One Vanderbilt has created this scape. The building developers are spending some of their money on the new Long Island Railroad terminal that is being built under GCT. I have seen the drawings and I think the building will be not bad.
