Vermont Rail System train VRS NPWJ-12 arrives at White River Junction, Vermont - about half a day late. This train stalled the previous afternoon, and continued its journey the next morning, on September 13, 2016. Power for this 15-car train is Clarendon & Pittsford GP38 203, which is the former Maine Central 255. The track this train is running on includes rails that were forged in 1920, 1917 and 1911! The railroad certainly got its money's worth on that purchase.
