Freshly painted SDF40-2 No. 5264 rolls off the Tehachapi grade just west of Mojave. The unit was rebuilt from Amtrak SDP40F No. 632. In all, as part of a horsepower trade, Amtrak sent 18 SDP40Fs to ATSF.
