Memorial Day Weekend 1975 gave me the opportunity to visit Vancouver Island for the first time. Our ferry landed in Nanaimo, and presented me with an opportunity to see CP Rail colors for the first time in person. This trio of Geeps became the first units I ever photographed with a 35mm camera on the CP. Here we have the classic mid-60s script scheme sharing space with two version of candy cane striping. What a wonderful color choice for those of us that enjoy color railroad photography!
