SCOX 5001 is one of only two GP30s built by EMD for service in Canada when delivered to Canadian Pacific as No. 8201 and later renumbered CP No. 5001. The locomotive was eventually sold to Rail Switching Service and has been leased to Scoular Grain in Fremont, Nebraska, since 2002. A cord coming from the cab window supplies power for a custom-installed air conditioner unit!
