RAJX is the reporting mark for Rail Logix Alamo Junction of Elmendorf, Texas. RAJX "GP19-1" 1701 is a former Southern Pacific GP20. This locomotive rolled out of EMD's plant in February 1962 as SP 7212. The SP assigned it number 4062 in the 1965 renumbering, and renumbered it again to 4111 when it was upgraded to a GP20R in 1977. When deemed surplus at SP, the unit was sold to Southwest Railway Car Parts, who in turn sold it to Kyle Railways as their number 2037. Kyle eventually transferred it to their San Joaquin Valley Railroad. It was photographed at the Rail Logix Alamo Junction facility on October 29, 2016. Photographed on private property with permission and full PPE.
