With this being only one of two chances to light up the 2016 version of the North Pole Express featuring the PM 1225, I wanted to make it count, and I was hoping that people would stay away from the popular Carland Elevator spot. Fortunately, with rain showers in the area and a lack of discouragement on my end, I set up and made it count. With rain falling, the train rolls north loaded with hundreds of excited passengers who, like myself, probably aren't too discouraged that the rain was falling.
