Amtrak 297 leads train #7, The Empire Builder, across a new bridge being built at Drexel Avenue in Oak Creek, WI in July of 1987. Once a 2 lane, at grade crossing, the bridge is over a new 4 lane divided highway. A shoefly was constructed to build the bridge and will now be excavated to finish the road.
