Looking a whole lot like an EMD SD45, Union Pacific MK Rail SD40M-2 No. 2680 awaits an assignment at Provo Yard on July 22, 2000. It was built Seaboard Coast Line SD45 No. 2027 by EMD in Sept. 1971. Later it worked on the CSX and VMV before undergoing an SD40M-2 rebuild at MK Rail in Boise, becoming the SP 8604 in Sept. 1994. By 2012, it went on to work for the New England Central as NECR 2680.
