A northbound (westbound) Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge passenger train scales along the cliffs of the High Line near Rockwood, Colorado, in July 1982. When riding the train, all eyes are usually on the Animas River 400 feet below, and no one ever notices the cliffs that tower above.
