| Intercity tilting train RABDe 500 # 006 "Vincenzo Vela" is running the IC 870 from Lugano to Zürich, speeding with 200 km/h towards the new 57 kilometer long Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT) over the bypass of Biasca. On the left, this is not the portal of the tunnel, but a road overpass. The GBT portal is about 3,8 km towards NW from here. |
