Four tunnel motors and two SD-45s are in run 8 and they grind uphill over the bridge just below Tehachapi Loop. The Oil Cans train usually required at least 4 units on the point, with 5 to 6 units as helpers. It was one of my favorite trains to photograph and chase on Tehachapi Pass, and with so many locomotives needed to get the train up the hill, it could be heard from miles away.
